#Janathon Day 9: dark skies, tired legs

Out of the door at 6am to fit in this morning’s run. Only a gentle 3 miles after yesterday’s 10k, but my legs feel like lead weights now.

Spotted on this morning’s run: Venus and half a moon, wrapped in cloud, disappearing and re-appearing like an ageing folk duet on a crackly radio; the nighttime sheen of wet tarmac, not yet dulled by morning’s approach; four short, squat men in thick coats silently loading themselves into a rust-bucket minibus under a watchful eye and the eerie glow of night lights wrapped around gravestones in the still dark cemetery.
