This morning’s five mile run to work saw me pass the 100 miles mark for January. It feels like all I’ve done this last week is work, run and try (and generally fail) to sleep.
The end of the month feels close enough to dream about now. As well as, hopefully, completing the 31 days, I am looking forward to running the Lliswerry 8 this Sunday. A flat 8 mile road race south east of Newport. I managed 58 minutes last year. Can’t see me matching that this year!
Spotted on this morning’s run: a cold, flat mist; hard paths; snaking grey river; bikes creaking through gloom; collars up, hats pulled low; rough beginnings.
