#Janathon Day 28: and the rain came down

Spotted on this morning’s run: a mum and son, windswept and rain sodden, having childish hide and seek fun on the walk to school; a pink and purple flowery umbrella making its last ever journey, it’s pretty flowers despoiled by bent and broken spikes, whilst the owner clung grimly on; a giant porcelain cupcake stood on an empty desk, alone, and absurd in a tiny office and rush hour drivers exchanging greetings, you cut me up, I’ll beep my horn, I’ll give you the bird. The world turns.
